iceveiled Electronic drums and synths only here, unlike other albums by JiD. If there was a second Terminator movie that came out in the 80's, a lot of these tracks would fit right in there as many possess that 80's synth vibe. This is a reissue of my first release that came out in 1996 with a new cover and title. It is a bit different than the new material, but still dark and heavy.

A CD version is available as a bonus on the "Multitudes Of Emptiness" CD.

A combination of synths, death, black, doom metal melodies and beats, and symphonic elements. No guitars or vocals, just heavy melodies and heavy drums. It is at the intersection of death, black, and doom metal and dark dungeon synth.

Back in the early 90s I played in a death metal Band - Sorrow. After we broke up I started writing dark synth music that was reminiscent of the intros and interludes on death and black metal albums.

The new material is symphonic black death metal complete with guitars and vocals, but there are still some dark synth tracks too. A new release will be out summer 2020 - "Multitudes of Emptiness"

Journey Into Darkness is the solo project of ex-guitarist Brett Clarin from the death doom metal band Sorrow (Roadrunner, 1991-1993).
